Precious
Karmapa,
day by day,
thinking of you

deep in my heart
I hear these words:
"wake up, wake up
The sun has risen,
all beings are waiting!"

Having chosen the Path to Liberation,
one finds oneself reborn in Dharma land,
The mother, source of wisdom, is called 'Sherab'.
The father, manifesting method, is called 'Thab'.
Having no concept for gender, status or race,
The immaculate child , a coming Buddha,
is called a 'Universal Monarch'!

Welcome  to Dharma land!
Generosity leads to wealth;
Humility is the glorious quality;
Patience... a fast way to victory!
Hardships are accomplished with ease
when one concentrates on the practices
transmitting the wisdom of the Buddhas

Dedication

Through your ever manifested kindness,  a yogi trying to be, I  was inspired to write these few words. Being unaware, what these represent is rather limited. Yet may they benefit the silent minority of those  who make from their life an ornament of this earth! May they know spontaneously that, never unheard, the words voiced silently in their heart, pervade the entire space,  touching countless beings  in all the realms of existence! Knowing this, may they allow until the end of time, Love and Compassion to inspire their conduct and dictate their actions to be matchless and humble.

Repa Sang-Ngag Gonpo, Theg-Chog Norbu-i Ga-Tsal on the Auspicious day of Saga Dawa in the year of the the Iron Dragon

Precious Gyalwa Karmapa,
At your feet with humility, let me bow down countless times.

Gathering the numberless mistakes, broken vows and downfalls
of my impure conduct of body, speech and mind,
I present you these ailments for healing.
Please show forbearance to this mad man pretending to be a yogi
and give your blessings.

To you, who are higher than the highest king of this world,
I wish long life and prosperity.
May the glory of your immaculate incarnation
spread and pervade the three worlds of existence
like the scent of the Utpala flower.

Making outer, inner and secret offerings to you,
I pray for your guidance and protection.
May my body, speech, mind, qualities and activity
be those of a Bodhisattva entirely dedicated to the spread of Dharma,
at your service, and this for many lifetimes to come.

Precious and glorious Tsurphu Gyalwa Karmapa,
at your feet, with humility, I bow down countless times.
Please show forbearance to this mad man pretending to be a yogi,
and make him a true representative of your Karma Kamtsang lineage,
the lineage of the Golden Rosary of faultless teachings.

Repa Sang-Ngag Gonpo, Xining - QingHai - November 1996

May the leaders of our collectivities,

understand the law of causality

and develop a view of reality

that allows all individuals

to become and remain

humble and compassionate.

Lama Norbu Repa, September 2001

Myriads of Buddhas

Waking up, feeling your presence;

I pray you to bless

All beings who obviously suffer

Their incapacity to rest in this immensity.

I offer you a lifestyle dedicated

To study and practice.

Sharing the experience of means

To achieve higher happiness.

Enjoying life so much, without...

Any clinging to the moment;

Wanting nothing else than...

What is...already there, just as it is.

Life is so short and learning so vast.

Nothing is to be known, that isn't already so.

Discovering it from instant to instant:

The learning is so great!
