NCF - Norbu Charitable Foundation
We aim at the welfare of all beings, from all creeds and religions
Outer Activity
In 1992 NCF began its first charitable project: that of the renovation of the Tashi Gang Monastery near Lhasa in Central Tibet.
Since then the foundation undertook several projects to benefit the Tibetan community, mainly in the Kham-NangXian region of the QingHai Province in western China.
Inner Motivation
Working benevolently for charitable projects is not an easy aim and often leads to abandoning one's commitment. To prevent this, NCF offers a convivial supportive network to its members.
Hidden Objective
Developing integrity while unfolding loving kindness and compassion in our actions for others can be a true challenge. Relying on genuine guidance through hearing, contemplation and meditation represents the heart of the Buddhist teachings and our hidden objective. NCF supports this aim through 'Theg-Chog Norbu-i Ga-tsal' , a Tibetan Dharma Center established under the Spiritual Authority of the XVIIth Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
