“Luncheon With The Experts” is a recurring educational opportunity (previously hosted by the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation) that connects patients and caregivers with extraordinary experts in neuroendocrine cancer. The sessions are hosted by Rain Bennett.
This program gives the unique opportunity for neuroendocrine specialists — like oncologists, surgeons, interventional radiologists, gastroenterologists, endocrinologists, etc. to answer and address broad-based questions from patients and caregivers globally via live chat.
Programs are typically delivered live (over Facebook Live and YouTube Live) at noon Eastern Time, allowing participants to join during their lunch break.
Live sessions are recorded and will be available after the live event.

Aman Chauhan, MD, MBBS, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in neuroendocrine cancers. He completed his oncology fellowship at the University of Kentucky and an NCI externship focused on clinical trial design. His clinical and research interests include neuroendocrine tumors and carcinomas, radiopharmaceutical therapy, theranostics, treatment sequencing, symptom management, and clinical trials. Dr. Chauhan has published extensively, served on AJCC and ASCO neuroendocrine tumor guideline committees, and is an active member of NANETS. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

J. Randolph “Randy” Hecht, MD, is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCLA and Medical Director of the UCLA GI Neuroendocrine Tumor Program. He is an internationally recognized gastrointestinal oncology researcher with expertise in neuroendocrine tumors, clinical trials, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, CAR-T, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. Dr. Hecht also serves on the Neuroendocrine Cancer Foundation Medical Advisory Council.
Dr. Jonathan Strosberg

Jonathan Strosberg, MD, is a professor of gastrointestinal oncology and section head of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Division at Moffitt Cancer Center. He specializes in neuroendocrine malignancies and has published extensively on their diagnosis and management, including in The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and The Lancet Oncology. He is a past president of NANETS and serves on the NCCN Neuroendocrine Guidelines Committee.
Jason S. Starr, DO, is a hematologist/oncologist at Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. He specializes in gastrointestinal malignancies, with a special interest in neuroendocrine tumors, clinical research, and clinical trial development. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology.
Jaydira Del Rivero, MD, is an endocrinologist and medical oncologist at the National Institutes of Health. She is a physician scientist in the Developmental Therapeutics Branch, where her work focuses on neuroendocrine neoplasms, endocrine malignancies, clinical trials, and targeted therapies for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, adrenocortical cancer, pheochromocytoma, and paraganglioma.

He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology of the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine.
Dr. Udhayvir Grewal

Udhayvir S. Grewal, MD, is a gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine tumor (GI/NET) medical oncologist at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and an Assistant Professor of Medical Oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. His research focuses on drug development and care-delivery innovations for patients with neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Grewal serves on the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) Membership & Diversity Committee and the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS) Grade 3 NENs Task Force. After medical school at Government Medical College in Patiala, India, Dr. Grewal completed his internal medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center–Shreveport and a hematology/medical oncology fellowship at the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he also remains an active collaborator with the UIowa NET SPORE team.
