ABOUT
The Neuroendocrine Cancer Foundation (NCF) and Emory Winship Cancer Institute hosted a free, in-person educational conference designed specifically for people living with neuroendocrine cancer and their caregivers. This one-day program brought together leading experts from Emory University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Vanderbilt University to share practical, up-to-date information on the diagnosis and management of neuroendocrine cancer.
Local and regional neuroendocrine cancer specialists presented the latest insights in NET care, including multidisciplinary approaches to surgery; advances in liver-directed therapy, systemic treatments, PRRT, and clinical trials; and emerging research on GLP-1 agents and neuroendocrine tumors.
In addition to expert-led presentations, attendees heard patient stories and had the opportunity to engage directly with specialists during live Q&A sessions. The interactive format helped empower patients and caregivers with knowledge, confidence, and a clearer understanding of available treatment options and care pathways.
Special thanks to Dr. Udhayvir Grewal for collaborating with NCF to make this event possible.
